Patricia L. Mulvey entered the elder care field after a successful career in international real estate and corporate relocation as a senior officer with Merrill Lynch Relocation Management, Merrill Lynch Realty Associates and Sothebys International Realty.
Knowledgeable of the serious issues of elder care and moved by the effect on relocating families making relocation decisions, Pat made a mid-life career change to Social Worker specializing in Geriatric Care Management.
After many years as a Founding Director of Solutions at Home, Geriatric Care Management under the auspices of Jewish Home Lifecare, Pat established her private practice, Patricia L. Mulvey & Associates providing care management services to the elderly in the greater New York Metropolitan area.
She is a Geriatric Care expert, well-regarded in the field, who has regularly appeared at forums on aging issues and was featured in the PBS documentary film “Caring for Mom & Dad.” Numerous publications have cited her work including text books on the subject.
